Preeya joins us today to address how many UK Space enterprises, no matter how large or small, are facing the challenge of generating the required talent to deliver the rising demands of the UK Space Sector. Whilst it is an exciting time for UK Space, the key to our growth is in our people, and Lockheed Martin are here to share how they aim to foster the growth of SQEP (suitably qualified and experienced personnel) in the upcoming years. Using the framework of her own rollercoaster career, Preeya takes us on a journey to explore how our perceptions of Space Skills and technical SQEP may not be what we traditionally believe.

Preeya has had a fascination with aerospace since her childhood which has driven her through an unconventional and often unpredictable career path whilst achieving a BTEC diploma, HNC, HND and a Master’s degree. Today she is living her dream by leading some of the most innovative space programmes across the UK.
